Difficulty level: Easy

Ingredients:

·      Bok choy (around 3 bunches)

·      1 garlic clove, finely sliced

·      2 TBSP cooking oil

·      1 TBSP oyster sauce

·      1 TSP sugar (optional)

Instructions:

Oyster sauce with garlic

  • To prepare the sauce, finely slice up 1 clove of garlic

  • Add 2 TBSP of oil to a pan and once the oil is hot, add in the sliced garlic. When the garlic starts to sizzle, turn off the heat. Do not let it burn.

  • Add in 1 TBSP of oyster sauce and 1 TBSP of hot water

  • If you like a sweeter sauce, you can add in 1 TSP of sugar

  • Mix the sauce together

Blanched Bok Choy

  • Cut off the ends of the bok choy stems and discard the stems

  • Wash the bok choy

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil

  • Add in the bok choy for 1-2 minutes

  • Drain the bok choy and run it under cold water to stop the bok choy from cooking any further

Arrange the bok choy nicely on a serving plate and pour the sauce on top.
